My starting point is taking inspiration from a photographer called Magdiel Lopez who focuses on photo shop and pastel colours. I like the way he took the photo of a persons eye and makes the eye look aesthetic and may also have a deeper meaning behind it. I am going to start with a series of images experimenting with the lighting and Photoshop and adding filters.

The equipment I am going to use is a Canon DSLR camera. I won't need a certain background as I will be zooming into the face. However, I may take it in a studio setup and use gold or silver reflectors to give the face a subtle look but if that doesn't work I might use a filter to soften the lighting. If the weather outside is bright and sunny I might do it in the natural light. My camera settings will be set according to the lighting, I will use the manual setting but might need the ISO on auto and a fast shutter speed so the picture isn't blurry. I need to make sure my camera is charged for every shoot and delete the previous images I have taken and upload them on to the computer.
